  • Registration includes meal, presentation by Dr. Jonathan White, and attendance at the annual Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania meeting.

The Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania’s annual meeting and luncheon will follow soon after the conclusion of the Dedication Day ceremony on November 19 at the Gettysburg Hotel, One Lincoln Square, in Gettysburg. This year’s venue will allow easy access to the historic Wills House, located just across the street from the hotel, for anyone who would like to tour the home where Lincoln finished the Gettysburg Address! (Note: Due to the change in this year’s venue, there will be no bus transportation between the luncheon hotel and National Cemetery).

We are privileged this year to welcome as our speaker Jonathan W. White. Jonathan W. White is associate professor of American Studies at Christopher Newport University and is the author or editor of eight books, including Abraham Lincoln and Treason in the Civil War: The Trials of John Merryman (2011), and Emancipation, the Union Army, and the Reelection of Abraham Lincoln (2014), which was a finalist for both the Lincoln Prize and Jefferson Davis Prize, and winner of the Abraham Lincoln Institute’s 2015 book prize. His most recent books include Midnight in America: Darkness, Sleep, and Dreams during the Civil War (2017) and “Our Little Monitor”: The Greatest Invention of the Civil War (2018), which he co-authored with Anna Gibson Holloway.
