Dedication Day, 2025
The Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania was honored to invite the public to Gettysburg National Cemetery on November 19th, 2025 for a special Dedication Day ceremony commemorating the 162nd anniversary of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address.
The keynote speaker was Dr. Jonathan White. Jonathan W. White is professor of American Studies at Christopher Newport University. He is the author or editor of 21 books that cover a variety of topics related to Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War.
Recitation of the Gettysburg Address was done by Dr. Michelle A. Krowl. Dr. Michelle A. Krowl is the Civil War and Reconstruction specialist in the Manuscript Division of the Library of Congress. She is the author of several articles and books on topics relating to the Civil War, as well as Quantico, Virginia and the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. She has worked as a library assistant at the Historical Society of Washington, D.C., an assistant professor at Northern Virginia Community College, and as a research assistant for historian Doris Kearns Goodwin.
Casey Thomas Brown, a three-time SAG Award nominated actor for his work in the ensemble of the Golden Globe Award-winning comedy, "The Kominsky Method," also joined us on the rostrum.
